Litti chokha instructions

  1. For littiTake a large bowl add wheat flour,semolina,baking powder,carom seeds,onion seeds,salt,turmeric powder and oil and mix well..
  2. Make a stiff dough with the help of water..
  3. The texture should be crumbly keep aside for 30 mins..
  4. Take a large bowl add above listed stuffing ingredients and mix well..
  5. Now stuffing is ready..
  6. Divide the dough into equal size balls..
  7. Stuff the filling in the dough..
  8. Wrap up the dough pieces and close from all sides..
  9. Preheat oven for 10 mins. in 250,c.
  10. Grease oven wire with oil..
  11. Place the bati in preheated oven for 5 mins..
  12. Flip it over till brown..
  13. Deep in the clarified butter and serve hot. with baingan bharta.
  14. For baingan bharta.
  15. Wash and clean the baingan.
  16. Stalk trimmed and partially slit into quarters and prick the baingan.
  17. Now keep in the microwave safe bowl.
  18. Microwave baingan for six mins and tomato for 3 mins.
  19. Cool down for some time,remove the skin of the baingan and tomato and mash it.
  20. Add green chilli,garlic cloves,coriander leaves,salt and finely chopped onion in the mashed baingan tomato and mix well..
